WALKABOUT LENORE’S HIKE

Hello Friends! I invite you to join me this Saturday for a little adventure in Encinitas. The details are below. I’m sharing a photo of the start of the downhill trail to the preserve so you can see what you’re getting into and decide if you want to bring hiking sticks or not.

SATURDAY, JUNE 17

9:30 am

DE-CLUTTERING & MANCHESTER PRESERVE. Now’s your chance to start that spring de-cluttering you’ve been meaning to get to. If you want to participate, bring one easy-to-carry item suitable for donation to Goodwill. We’ll start off this approximately 4-mile, moderate-paced walk by dropping our items off at the Goodwill store, then we’ll walk along some neighborhood streets in Encinitas. After that we’ll explore some of the trails in the biologically diverse, 123-acre Manchester Preserve. Be prepared for dirt trails, plenty of hills, and steps without handrails. Meet in front of Trader Joe’s at 115 N. El Camino Real, in the Encinitas Village Shopping Center (northeast corner of the intersection of El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd, near Ralphs). Email, text, or call: Lenore E. (619) 890-0714 (ledidin@san.rr.com)
