WALKABOUT SATURDAY LITE HIKE, SEPT 30, 2023
Meeting location: Top of La Honda Drive at parking lot
Meeting time: 8:30 am
Distance: 7.5 miles, 1,000 feet elevation gain
We will hike Daley Ranch for a loop up to Engelmann Oak Trail along the Crest and Cougar Ridge Trails and out along Jack Meadow for a distance of 7.5 miles and 1,000 feet elevation gain.
The address for Daley Ranch is 3024 La Honda Dr., but that is the headquarters – not our meeting place. We will meet at the top of La Honda drive at the parking lot. You can’t miss it.
The weather forecast is mid 60s with 50 percent chance of light rain. We will hike in the rain so bring rain gear. Also, bring poles. There is a downhill with lots of rocks. Remember water and munchies!
