WALKABOUT SATURDAY WILDERNESS LITE HIKE, MAY 27 2023
Saturday’s hike will leave at 8:30 AM from Cerro de las Posas Park, 1387 W. Borden Rd., San Marcos. I was up there this morning and there are still lots of flowers!
We will hike approximately 5 miles with about a 750 feet elevation gain. We will start by walking about 1.5 miles up Borden Rd., then get on the trail up to the mountain. The trail is rocky so bring your poles. Also pack water, a snack, and layered clothing.
