Walkabout Wednesday Lite Hike

We will meet at San Elijo Ecological Reserve and Nature  Center @ 8:15. 2710 ManchesterAv. Cardiff, 92007.

This will be a loop, 6 miles, mostly flat. We head west on Pole trail,to Rios TH. Continue East to Annie’s Canyon. There is the option of climbing to the viewpoint. Continue East,under I-5, to La Orilla TH. Return to junction under I 5,cross pedestrian bridge,head west to Nature Center. 

You might see egrets,ducks, osprey,coots and Ridgway’s rail.
Take time to visit the Visitor Center.

Bring water,snack,sunscreen. Poles might be useful,going down from Annie’s Canyon viewpoint.
