WALKABOUT WILDERNESS HIKE – LITE
SATURDAY, APRIL 9TH, 2022 – VOLCAN MOUNTAIN
WE WILL DEPART AT 9:00 AM – This will be an exploratory in and out hike of about 3+ miles. Will try to see if we can make it a bit longer; with an elevation gain/loss of about 800′. I am hoping that we will be able to see some flowers. Expected temperatures in the high 70s.
Bring a snack, lunch if you would like, and water. Boots are recommended.

DIRECTIONS – I-8 East to 67 North, go through Ramona, follow 78, go through Santa Isabel, continue on 78 until you come up to Wynola Road. Make a left on Wynola Rd. take it all the way in until you come up to Farmer Road. There are two Farmer Roads, go to the second one and make a left. You will see the big sign for Volcan Mountain on the right, park on the side of the road.
