Walkabout Wilderness Standard Hike

 


Today’s hike is 10 miles with approximately 1200’ total elevation gain.

 

We will meet at 9 AM at the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Visitor Center Parking.

 

We will head out of the parking lot and go north on the East Side Trail to where it meets the Dyar Spring Trail and continue north .8 mile to the Harvey Moore Trail.  We will walk the entire Harvey Moore trail loop of 6 miles and then connect to the Pine Trail for .8 miles.  From there we will connect to the Juaquapin Trail and then back onto the East Side Trail to the Visitor Center. 

 

There are toilets available at the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Visitor Center.
