Wilderness Email Hike Activity

Ken Van Lew, has offered to coordinate a carpool, contact (858) 610-1187 or email [email protected] and he will be stopping by the Methodist Church at 2111 Camino del Rio S, San Diego, CA 92108, at 8:00am on Saturday to pick up anyone interested.

Today’s hike will be out of the Red Tailed Roost area at milepost 22.8 on Sunrise Highway and will be a loop of about 6 miles.  Looks like a beautiful fall day with cool temperatures and a high of about 58 degrees. We are planning a Potluck Lunch following the hike so bring something to drink and a goody to share. Plates, utensils, cups and glasses will be furnished. During all of this, I hope a nice discussion about Walkabout Wilderness hikes future can ensue. Make sure you have a good pair of boots, hat, sunscreen and water.

The hike will leave the trailhead promptly at 9:00 AM.  For further info contact Don [email protected] or (760) 670-6862.
