The hike will leave from the Meadows area parking lot at mile 19 on the Sunrise Highway at 8.30am.
Adventure / parking pass required.
Distance of 10.5 miles.
A total elevation gain of just over 1,500 ft, and an average moving pace of 2.5 miles per hour.

Heading north from the Meadows we will quickly take the Sunset Trail on the left for 3.5 miles before
joining the trail coming north from Big Laguna Lake.

In about 0.5 miles the trail joins the Big Laguna Trail and then we take the Filaree Flat Spur for 0.5 miles to the Nobel Canyon Trail. Right on Nobel Canyon and then rejoin the Big Laguna Trail after 1 mile.

Going right on the Big Laguna trail we stay on it for about 3.3 miles down the east side of the meadow before crossing over at the south end of the Big Laguna Lake to join the Water of the Woods spur trail and stay on this trail for about 1.5 miles back to the Meadows parking area.
